Kindermusik is a developmentally appropriate music and movement programme for children from newborn through to 7 years of age. For 25 years, Kindermusik has brought music and movement into the lives of families and young children - sharing in the total development of each unique child with a joyful, engaging approach to learning. New research tells us what we intuitively knew all along: cognitive, social and emotional development begins in a newborn's very first days of life, and from the beginning, we can do much to stimulate that growth in very natural, loving ways.

for babies from newborn to 18 months

What if there was a place for you and your baby where all the little miracles that seem to fly by so quickly were captured, magnified and celebrated? Where life's merry-go-round slowed down to let you and your child share in the magical moments that happen through music, movement, touch and sounds? Where you helped your baby to see, touch and hear the world in new ways and in turn you found new ways to be amazed by her? And what if these moments of discovery helped you understand how every tune and every rhyme, with every tickle and every whisper, with every song and every peek-a-boo, you help unfold her natural gifts? And what if every time you left this place, you took home treasures from the day, inspirations for making that experience come alive with your baby at home?

  • Kindermusik Village classes are for babies from newborn through to 18 months old - lap babies, crawlers and walkers accompanied by their parent or caregiver.

Classes promote spontaneous family music making at home.

  • Basic musical concepts are introduced through developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Because parents are the child’s first and most important teacher, opportunities abound for parents to take the lead in playing, singing and dancing with their children in an unhurried manner and in their own special way.
  • Home materials include 2 CDs of all our music; 2 literature books, a home activity book and an instrument.
